Importing video:

When you have created the new project, the iMovie window will open.

It will say "Camera Connected" on the screen and the option which allows you to view video footage from the camera will automatically switch to camera mode.

In this mode, you can use the video control buttons to control your camera. When you press play, the video in the camera will be played in the large viewing screen.

When you shots which you wish to include in your edited video, these can be imported to the shelf.
