Donny O'Rourke was born in Port Glasgow in 1959 and studied English and History at Glasgow University.
Editor of the anthology Dream State: The New Scottish Poets, (1994) and co-editor of New Writing Scotland, he now performs his work regularly at home and overseas.
His collection, Second Cities, was a Glasgow Herald Critics Choice for 1991.
