St Maurice's High School: Caitlin Elliot
Everything was quiet in the old house.
You could tell there was a creature living there because of the sawdust smell.
I could hear the creature breathing, then Squak!
It's blue eyes watching my every move, from it's prison bar cage.
It's beak as sharp as a knife, if it bit you, you would probably start bleeding.
Then the creature looked scary, his wings flapping at me, wanting me to go away, but I coualdn't, I was mesmerised.
It was so beautiful, it had every colour of the rainbow on it.
It flew to the other side of the cage, it was like looking at something in the Rainforest.
