Kinross High School: Michael Robertson
Always there, warm house, comforting,
come in from the cold, harsh winter.
Into your arms, tight grasp grips greatly
Time well spent, laughing and smiling
in this happy house, or garden in summer.
Don't spill your tea, or turn the gas on
or fidget or strop or set fire to anything,
but that's just mum, granny won't mind.
She shrugs it off with a sunny smile
as always, and still to this day,
I see that smile, that cheeky grin,
always there, never goes away.
