Hyndland Secondary School: Darryl McAneny

she had a lavender scent during the summer
and cinnamon during the winter
she looked like a sun flower the way her happiness glowed
her skin was so soft you would only expect it to belong to a baby
if she was food I’d bet she would have been vanilla
oh how I envied my sister

she smells like liquorish
she looks like a black hissing cat
her taste is bitter like lime
she feels like broken glass
she sounds like a nails down a black board when ever she talks to me
how did she end up like this?
