Hyndland Secondary School: Scott Black

Her fluffy furry body brushes against me
Her wonderful warmth penetrates my skin
Her heart is pounding hard
Like a hammer against an anvil

Her small pink toes
Gently scratch my skin
As she shoots up my arm
Like a bullet from a gun

Her sneeze, gentle
Her soft squeaks
Only to be heard when all is quiet
I feel her purring in the palm of my hand

Her rich beautiful scent
Is like freshly cut wood
As her ragged pink tail
Whips and whacks against my face
